Christina Renée Hendricks (born May 3, 1975) is an American actress and former model. With an extensive career on screen and stage, she has received various accolades, including six Primetime Emmy Award nominations, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and two Critics' Choice Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. She is probably best known for her role as Joan Harris in the critically acclaimed AMC drama series Mad Men. In 2010, a poll of female readers taken by Esquire magazine named her "the sexiest woman in the world". She was also voted "Best Looking Woman in America". Christina Hendricks, née le 3 mai 1975 à Knoxville (Tennessee), est une actrice américaine. Elle est révélée par la série télévisée acclamée Mad Men (2007-2015). Son interprétation de Joan Holloway lui permet d'être citée, à six reprises, pour le Primetime Emmy Award de la meilleure actrice dans un second rôle dans une série télévisée dramatique et lui vaut, notamment, deux Screen Actors Guild Awards ainsi que deux Critics' Choice Television Awards. Parallèlement, elle joue dans plusieurs films. Nicolas Winding Refn la dirige ainsi dans Drive (2011) et The Neon Demon (2016). L'actrice retrouve aussi les acteurs principaux de ces deux longs-métrages : respectivement dans le drame indépendant Ginger & Rosa (2012) et le thriller Lost River (2014). A partir de 2018, elle fait son retour à la télévision avec la comédie d'action Good Girls.
