Bill Istvan Günther Skarsgård is a Swedish actor, producer, director, writer, voice actor, and model. He is best known for portraying Pennywise the Dancing Clown in the supernatural horror films It (2017) and It Chapter Two (2019), based on Stephen King's novel of the same name. He also voiced the Deviant Kro in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Eternals (2021).

Er gehört zur bekannten schwedischen Schauspielerfamilie Skarsgård. 2011 wurde er für seine Rolle des autistischen Simon im schwedischen Komödien-Drama "Im Weltraum gibt es keine Gefühle" für den schwedischen Filmpreis Guldbagge als Bester Hauptdarsteller und bei den Young Artist Awards 2011 in der Kategorie Beste Darstellung in einem internationalen Spielfilm nominiert. Im März 2012 bekam er eine Hauptrolle in Eli Roths Thriller-Serie "Hemlock Grove". Der Schauspieler spielt außerdem die Hauptfigur Pennywise in der Neuverfilmung von Stephen Kings Roman "Es".
