Peter Haskell (October 15, 1934 – April 12, 2010) was an American actor who worked primarily in television. Haskell was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Rose Veronica (née Golden) and geophysicist Norman Haskell. He attended Browne & Nichols and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Harvard University following a two-year stint in the United States Army where he rose to the rank of Private First Class. Haskell's plan to study at Columbia Law School was derailed when he was cast in the off-Broadway play The Love Nest, with James Earl Jones and Sally Kirkland in 1963. Haskell subsequently appeared in numerous television shows throughout the 1960s, 70s and 80s including as a regular on the soap operas Search for Tomorrow and Ryan's Hope. His film appearances include the title role in The Legend of Earl Durand, Riding the Edge and Robot Wars, though he is best known for playing Mr. Sullivan, the CEO of Playpals Toys, in David Kirschner's Child's Play 2 and Child's Play 3. Haskell wurde in Boston, Massachusetts, als Sohn von Rose Veronica (geb. Golden) und dem Geophysiker Norman Haskell geboren. Er besuchte die Browne & Nichols School und erwarb später einen Bachelor of Arts an der Harvard University, nachdem er zwei Jahre in der US-Armee gedient hatte, wo er den Rang eines Gefreiten erreichte. Haskells Plan, an der Columbia Law School zu studieren, wurde durchkreuzt, als er 1963 für das Off-Broadway-Stück „The Love Nest“ mit James Earl Jones und Sally Kirkland besetzt wurde. Anschließend wirkte Haskell in zahlreichen Fernsehsendungen der 1960er, 70er und 80er Jahre mit, unter anderem als regelmäßiger Gast in den Seifenopern „Search for Tomorrow“ und „Ryan’s Hope“.
