Leon Rippy (born October 30, 1949, Rock Hill, South Carolina) is an American character actor. Active on screen since 1983, Rippy has appeared in numerous films and recurring roles on television. He is best known for his roles as Earl the Angel on the series Saving Grace, saloon owner Tom Nuttall on the series Deadwood and militiaman John Billings in The Patriot (2000). Leon Rippy hat seit den frühen 1980er Jahren in vielen Fernsehproduktionen und Kinofilmen mitgewirkt. In seiner Karriere hat er unter anderem mehrfach mit dem Regisseur und Produzenten Roland Emmerich zusammengearbeitet. Leon Rippy spielte in dessen Filmen Moon 44, Universal Soldier, Stargate, Der Patriot und in dem von Roland Emmerich produzierten The 13th Floor – Bist du was du denkst? mit. Größere Bekanntheit erlangte Leon Rippy durch seine Rollen als Saloonbesitzer Tom Nuttall in der US-Fernsehserie Deadwood und als Engel Earl in der US-Fernsehserie Saving Grace.
