Alyson Lee Hannigan (born March 24, 1974) is an American actress and television presenter. She is best known for her roles as Willow Rosenberg in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003), as Lily Aldrin in the sitcom How I Met Your Mother (2005–2014) for which she won a People's Choice Award in 2009, and as Michelle Flaherty in the American Pie film series (1999–2012). Since 2016, Hannigan has hosted the television show Penn & Teller: Fool Us. She also provides the voice of Claire Clancy in the Disney Junior animated series Fancy Nancy (2018–present).

Alyson Lee Hannigan (* 24. März 1974 in Washington, D.C.) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin. Bekannt wurde sie zunächst durch den Film Meine Stiefmutter ist ein Alien und später die Serie Buffy – Im Bann der Dämonen. In der Serie spielte sie sieben Jahre lang in insgesamt 144 Folgen die Hexe und Computerspezialistin Willow Rosenberg. Darüber hinaus verkörperte sie die Rolle der Michelle in vier American-Pie-Filmen. Danach spielte Hannigan in einem Londoner Theater in einer Bühnenversion von Harry und Sally die Titelfigur Sally und war 2005 in einigen Episoden der Serie Veronica Mars als Trina Echolls zu sehen. Im Herbst 2005 startete in den USA ihre neue Serie How I Met Your Mother, in der sie bis zum Serienfinale im Jahr 2014 an der Seite von Jason Segel die Erzieherin Lily Aldrin in 206 Folgen spielte.
