Sir Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton (born 7 January 1985) is a British racing driver contracted to compete in Formula One for Ferrari. Hamilton has won a joint-record seven Formula One World Drivers' Championship titles—tied with Michael Schumacher—and holds the records for most wins (105), pole positions (104), and podium finishes (202), among others. Né le 7 janvier 1985 à Stevenage, en Angleterre, Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton est le pilote de Formule 1 le plus titré de l'histoire. Intégré dès 1998 au programme jeunes pilotes de McLaren, il gravit les échelons en remportant la Formula 3 Euro Series en 2005 et le championnat GP2 en 2006. Ses débuts en F1 en 2007 chez McLaren sont immédiatement remarqués, et il décroche son premier titre mondial en 2008 lors d'un final d'anthologie au Brésil. Son transfert chez Mercedes en 2013 marque le début d'une ère de domination : six nouveaux titres entre 2014 et 2020, égalant le record de Michael Schumacher. Avec 105 victoires, 104 pole positions et 203 podiums, il est le recordman absolu de la discipline. Anobli en 2021, il rejoint la Scuderia Ferrari en 2025 pour un nouveau chapitre de sa carrière légendaire.
