Rachel Anne Zegler (born May 3, 2001) is an American actress. She came to prominence with her film debut playing María in Steven Spielberg's musical adaptation West Side Story (2021), for which she won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical. She then starred as Anthea in the superhero film Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023) and Lucy Gray Baird in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023). Zegler will next be seen in the animated fantasy film Spellbound (2024), the A24 sci-fi comedy Y2K (2024), and the titular role of the first ever Disney princess in the live-action remake of Snow White (2025).

Rachel Anne Zegler (* 3. Mai 2001 in Hackensack, New Jersey) ist eine US-amerikanische Webvideoproduzentin, Sängerin und Schauspielerin. Zegler wurde im Mai 2001 als Tochter einer kolumbianischen Mutter und eines US-amerikanischen Vaters polnischer Herkunft in New Jersey geboren und wuchs in der Stadt Clifton auf. Sie besuchte die Immaculate Conception High School in Lodi, wo sie schon früh in Musical-Inszenierungen der Schule auftrat. Seit dem Jahr 2015 veröffentlichte sie eigene Musikstücke und Coversongs über ihren YouTube-Kanal, der Stand Juni 2021 über 200.000 Abonnenten hatte. Anfang 2019 wurde Zegler aus über 30.000 Bewerberinnen für die Rolle der María in Steven Spielbergs Musicalfilm West Side Story ausgewählt. Die Dreharbeiten fanden im Sommer 2019 statt; der Filmstart war Dezember 2021 und brachte ihr u. a. einen Golden Globe Award ein. Danach übernahm Zegler eine Rolle im Superheldenfilm Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Sie wird 2024 die Hauptrolle in der Disney-Live-Action-Verfilmung von Schneewittchen spielen.
