Betty Thomas (geb. Betty Lucille Nienhauser) ist eine US-amerikanische Regisseurin und Schauspielerin. Bekannt wurde sie durch ihre Rolle als Sergeant Lucy Bates in der Fernsehserie „Polizeirevier Hill Street“, für die sie sieben Mal für einen Emmy nominiert wurde und ihn einmal gewann. Ihr letzter Film (erschienen 2009), „Alvin und die Chipmunks 2“, war damals der erfolgreichste Film einer Regisseurin.
