Ed Gilbert (born Edmund Francis Giesbert, June 29, 1931 – May 8, 1999) was an American actor, with extensive credits in both live-action roles and voice work in animation, although he was better known for the latter. He is also credited, under his birth name, with research in entomology and the discovery of new beetle species. He was known for voicing Baloo in TaleSpin.

Mai 1999) war ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler, der sowohl in Realfilmen als auch als Synchronsprecher in Animationsfilmen mitwirkte, wobei er vor allem für seine Synchronrollen bekannt war. Unter seinem Geburtsnamen forschte er zudem im Bereich der Entomologie und entdeckte neue Käferarten. Er war bekannt für seine Stimme von Balu in der Zeichentrickserie „Käpt’n Balu und seine tollkühne Crew“.
