Teryl Rothery (born November 9, 1962) is a Canadian actress and voice actress. She is best known for her roles as Dr. Janet Fraiser on Stargate SG-1, Muriel on Virgin River, Dr. Jen 'JL' Lancaster on The Good Doctor, and Grace Sherman on Cedar Cove,. She began her career as a dancer at age thirteen when she performed in her first musical, "Bye Bye Birdie". Her role in "Annie Get Your Gun" earned her a Most Outstanding Performer award with her theater company. Over the years, she has guest starred on TV series including The Outer Limits, The X Files, First Wave, The Dead Zone, Eureka, Smallville, Fairly Legal, Psych, The Killing, Rush, Supernatural, iZombie, Good Witch, Impostors, Bates Motel, and multiple mini-series. She has appeared in movies such as Masterminds (1997) with Patrick Stewart, and Mr. Rice's Secret (2000) with David Bowie. She has also appeared in numerous Hallmark and TV movies, as well as voiced for anime and animated TV series and movies. She's had major and co-starring roles as Muriel on Virgin River, Dr. Jen 'JL' Lancaster on The Good Doctor, Grace Sherman on Cedar Cove, and Celia Hudson on Nancy Drew. She's had other recurring roles as Dawn Kannerman on Upload, Patricia Holden on Travelers, Robin O'Brien on Chesapeake Shores, Henrietta on Wayward Pines, Helen Bouchard on When Calls the Heart, Cathy McDonald on Cult, Jean Loring on Arrow, Layne Monroe on Hellcats, Evelyn on Caprica, Gwen on The Guard, Carol Bloom on Kyle XY, Linda the Realtor on Dead Like Me, and Mary (Jeremiah's mother) on Jeremiah.

Teryl Rothery (* 9. November 1962 in Vancouver, British Columbia) ist eine kanadische Schauspielerin und Synchronsprecherin, bekannt durch ihre Rolle der Dr. Janet Fraiser in der Fernsehserie Stargate – Kommando SG-1. Teryl Rothery startete ihre Schauspielkarriere mit dreizehn Jahren, als sie in dem Musical Bye Bye Birdie mitspielte. Ihre erste Schauspiel-Rolle hatte sie 1987 in einer Folge der Fernsehserie Stingray. Danach spielte sie zum Beispiel 1994 an der Seite von Roger Moore und Malcolm McDowell im Thriller Der Mann, der niemals starb. Zusätzlich wirkt sie auch als Synchronsprecherin. In der kanadischen Version der Anime-Serie Dragonball sprach sie unter anderem die Mai. In Ranma ½ und den zugehörigen OVA-Filmen sprach sie die Kodachi Kuno. Nach Auftritten in diversen Fernsehfilmen hatte sie 1994 eine kleinere Rolle in dem Kinofilm André. Eine größere Bekanntheit erlangte sie ab 1997 mit ihrer Rolle der Dr. Janet Fraiser in der US-Science-Fiction-Fernsehserie Stargate – Kommando SG-1, die sie von Beginn der Serie bis zum Ende der siebten Staffel innehatte. Für eine Paralleluniversum-Folge der neunten Staffel kehrte sie 2006 für einen Gastauftritt zurück. Neben Folgenauftritten in verschiedenen kanadischen und US-Fernsehserien wie Akte X – Die unheimlichen Fälle des FBI, Outer Limits – Die unbekannte Dimension, Dead Zone oder Eureka – Die geheime Stadt war sie weiterhin als Synchronsprecherin tätig. So sprach Rothery in den englischsprachigen Versionen von Hilfe! Ich bin ein Fisch und Ein Cosmo & Wanda Movie: Werd’ erwachsen Timmy Turner!. Wiederkehrend war Rothery in der Küstenwache-Serie The Guard als Gwen, in der Battlestar-Galactica-Prequel-Serie Caprica als Evelyn sowie als Layne Monroe in Hellcats zu sehen.
