Anthony Deane Rapp (born October 26, 1971) is an American stage and film actor and singer best known for originating the role of Mark Cohen in the Broadway production of "Rent" in 1996 and later for reprising the role in the film version and the Broadway Tour of "Rent" in 2009. Anthony Deane Rapp (* 26. Oktober 1971 in Chicago, Illinois) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler. Rapp wurde 1996 in der Rolle des Mark Cohen im Musical Rent bekannt, die er 2005 auch in der Verfilmung verkörperte. Er begann ein Studium an der New York University und brach es anschließend zugunsten einer Schauspielkarriere in Hollywood ab. Kleinere Rollen spielte Rapp in der Folge unter anderem in Confusion – Sommer der Ausgeflippten und Das Leben – Ein Sechserpack in den neunziger Jahren und nach der Jahrtausendwende in A Beautiful Mind und Road Trip. Einem breiteren Publikum wurde er mit der Rolle des Lt. Paul Stamets in der Science-Fiction-Serie Star Trek: Discovery bekannt, die seit September 2017 zu sehen ist.
