Sie ist vor allem durch ihre Rolle als Dr. Sharon Fieldstone in der Serie Ted Lasso (2021–2023) bekannt, für die sie 2022 für einen Primetime-Emmy-Award nominiert wurde. Niles spielte unter anderem am Royal Court Theatre und am Royal National Theatre und ist seit 2008 auch regelmäßig in Film- und Fernsehproduktionen zu sehen.
