Jasmine Guy, geboren am 10. März 1962 in Boston, Massachusetts, ist eine vielseitige amerikanische Schauspielerin, Sängerin, Tänzerin und Regisseurin. Ihre bekannteste Rolle ist die der Whitley Gilbert-Wayne in der NBC-Serie "A Different World", einer Spin-off von "The Cosby Show", die von 1987 bis 1993 lief. Für diese Rolle gewann sie mehrere NAACP Image Awards. Außerdem spielte sie die Roxy Harvey in der Serie "Dead Like Me" und hatte eine Rolle im Film "School Daze". Neben ihrer Schauspielkarriere ist Jasmine Guy auch als Sängerin aktiv und hat Musik in den Genres R&B, Pop und New Jack Swing veröffentlicht. Sie hat außerdem als Regisseurin gearbeitet und wurde 2023 mit einem Primetime Emmy Award für ihre Rolle in der Kurzformate-Serie "Chronicles of Jessica Wu" ausgezeichnet.
