David Chester Gibbons ist ein englischer Comiczeichner, Autor und gelegentlich auch Letterer. Bekannt ist er vor allem durch seine Zusammenarbeit mit dem Autor Alan Moore, zu der die Miniserie Watchmen und die Superman-Geschichte „For the Man Who Has Everything“ gehören. Er war Zeichner für 2000 AD, für das er seit der ersten Ausgabe 1977 einen großen Teil seiner Werke beisteuerte.
