Tired of taking showers, Jess and Winston scheme to get a bathtub in the loft. Then, at the bar, Nick meets a tough and beautiful customer with boyfriend troubles. Meanwhile, Schmidt is torn between his boss and trying to win back Cece.

Jess et Winston sont fatigués de devoir prendre des douches. Ils décident donc de comploter pour obtenir une baignoire dans leur loft. De son côté, Nick rencontre une jolie fille dans son bar, qui lui confie ses problèmes amoureux. Quant à Schmidt, il ne sait plus quoi faire. Solo più tardi, Winston confessa a Jess di essere d'accordo con la sua idea e, per non farlo sapere a Nick e Schmidt decidono di fare tutto di nascosto. Il loro piano però, fallisce quando la vasca si rompe e, con lei, anche il tetto proprio sopra tutti i vestiti di Schmidt, portando Jess e Winston a inventare una rapina per giustificare il danno con l'amico.
