Al creates a Tool Time board game, hoping to earn enough money to propose to Ilene. But the game has problems and sometimes catches fire.

Da Al eine depressive Phase hat, versucht ihn Tim wieder aufzumuntern und sein Selbstvertrauen aufzumöbeln. Und tatsächlich beschließt der so gestärkte Al, den Vertrieb seines „Tool Time“-Spiels ganz groß aufzuziehen. Doch bald stellt sich heraus, dass sein Spiel eine gewaltige Macke hat. Es fängt beim Spielen an zu brennen. Tim erkennt sofort, dass die Elektrokabel zu schwach sind. Da Al versprochen hat, Ilene zu heiraten, wenn er erst einmal erfolgreich ist, helfen alle Freunde eifrig mit, den Schaden schnellstmöglich zu beheben. Doch Al sieht ein, dass Ilene ihn auch ohne das große Geld liebt und macht ihr, obwohl sein Geschäft keinen Erfolg hat, einen Heiratsantrag.
