Eddie and Joy want to downgrade to a smaller house, but Doug and Ally aren't ready to move out on their own. Meanwhile, when Duffy dumps Whitey (guest star Martin Mull), he moves in with Eddie and Joy as a way of coping, but he quickly overstays his welcome and Joy wants him out.

Eddie geht es ziemlich auf die Nerven, dass Ally und Doug immer noch mit ihrem Wohnmobil auf seinem Grundstück hausen und er auch noch für ihren Unterhalt aufkommt. Joy ist mittlerweile auch der Ansicht, dass sie die beiden rauswerfen müssen, fürchtet aber, dass sie immer wieder zurückkommen werden. Eddie überredet Joy daraufhin sich ein kleineres Stadthaus anzusehen, dass gerade groß genug für ihre Bedürfnisse ist, aber keinen Platz für Dauerbesucher wie Doug und Ally lässt. Doug und Ally fallen aus allen Wolken, als sie davon erfahren, wollen aber das beste daraus machen und mit dem Wohnmobil durch Amerika ziehen....
