Eddie becomes annoyed by his students' use of cell phones in class, and soon learns that he and Joy are the only ones not infatuated with the latest technology. When Mr. White decides to drag Eddie into the 21st century, Eddie develops a technology addiction of his own.

Eddie ist entsetzt, weil er kaum ich seinen Unterricht halten kann, denn die Schüler stecken nur noch mit der Nase in ihren Handys oder Laptops. Selbst Whitey kann ihn nicht davon überzeugen, dass er der modernen Technik gegenüber aufgeschlossen sein muss und von Duffy erhält er natürlich auch keine Unterstützung. Entweder lässt er die Laptops in seinem Unterricht zu, oder sie entlässt ihn, lautet ihre Antwort auf seine Beschwerde. Die schwangere Ally ist genervt, dass sich Doug immer mehr von ihr zurückzieht und viel Zeit vor dem Computer verbringt....
