When Joy gets angry at Eddie for forgetting her birthday, she decides to cash in on all the coupons he has given her over the years for massages, pedicures and chores. Meanwhile, Kenny convinces Eddie that he needs to surprise her with a handbag in order to be forgiven. Unfortunately for Eddie, Joy decides to return the handbag and finds out the hard way that it's a fake.

Joy hat Geburtstag, aber Eddie hat diesen mal wieder total vergessen. Erst als er ein Telefonat mithört, wird es ihm klar und er kritzelt schnell etwas auf ein Stück Papier. Als Joy großzügig gratuliert, ahnt sie es bereits, er hat wieder nur einen so genannten Gutschein für sie mit irgendeinem Unsinn, den sie sowieso nie einlösen wird. Eddie versucht sie von der Aufrichtigkeit seiner Geschenke zu überzeugen und so fordert sie zu seinem Entsetzen die Einlösung der angesammelten Gutscheine ein.
