When Eddie and Joy pay a visit to his parents in Florida, Eddie discovers that his parents are planning to divorce in order to qualify for medical insurance. Eddie refuses to accept the idea and tries to convince his mother that it's a bad decision to put his father back on the market.

Eddie und Joy fliegen nach Florida, um Eddies Eltern zu besuchen. Am Flughafen kann Eddie jedoch nicht dem Angebot der Fluggesellschaft widerstehen für einen Freiflug und den Aufenthalt im Admirals Club einen späteren Flug zu nehmen, weil ihrer überbucht ist. Joy passt das gar nicht, ist aber bereits bei Al und Barbara, ihren Schwiegereltern, als er endlich dort eintrifft. Dummerweise ohne ihr Gepäck, das er unbeaufsichtigt hatte stehen lassen und das daraufhin gesprengt wurde.
