In the aftermath of the night's traumatic events, Andy and Dov try to pull themselves together at an all-night diner, but are caught off-duty and off-guard in a volatile diner hold-up. Meanwhile, the weary officers at 15 Division struggle to contain the evening's collateral damage under the watchful eye of a tough new Inspector.

Les policiers n'ont pas le choix que d'attendre que les médecins fassent leur travail et sauvent Sam et Chloe. Lorsqu'elle se réveille, Chloe demande à parler à Wes, son mari et Best demande à Andy et Dov d'aller manger quelque chose en attendant. Ils pensent être partis une petite demie-heure mais alors qu'ils sortent, deux jeunes braquent le restaurant. Pour éviter tout problème, ils cachent leurs badges et aident au mieux. Au commissariat, l'enquête suit son cours et il est clair qu'ils veulent la tête de Best assez rapidement. Nick ne répond pas aux appels alors qu'il est allé cherché la soeur de Sam, son seul parent vivant.
