When Danny and Baez suspect a little girl might be the victim of a kidnapping, the girl’s mother denies it, but her story doesn’t add up. Meanwhile, Frank pays a visit to a priest, a counselor to the NYPD, who was arrested on a DUI charge.

Alors que Nicky et Erin prennent un petit déjeuner dans un restaurant, ils découvrent qu'une petite fille assise à proximité a laissé un mot en partant. Il s'agit d'un appel à l'aide. Danny est appelé en renfort, et apprend vite que les adultes qui accompagnaient l'enfant ce matin n'étaient pas ses parents. Il se rend donc chez eux pour les interroger et comprend rapidement que quelque chose les tracasse. En leur mettant un peu la pression, ils finissent par lui avouer que leur fille est retenue en otage par un criminel qui souhaite faire entrer des clandestins dans le pays.
