J.D. and Kim start contemplating about their future and their baby's future. Meanwhile, Turk rushes Carla to the hospital after she goes into labor. And Jordan accuses Dr. Cox of not being a more defensive father towards Jack.

J.D. und Kim müssen sich für oder gegen das Kind entscheiden. Weder eine Liste des Für und Wider, noch ein Münzwurf oder ein inneres Gefühl erleichtert ihnen die Entscheidung . Carlas Wehen setzen ein, und Turk ist eifrig bemüht, alles Notwendige zu erledigen. Doch was er auch für Carla tun will, es misslingt, sodass Elliott schließlich die Aufgabe übernimmt, Carla zu unterstützen.

Carla est en plein travail et Turk est très excité car son bébé va naître. Mais manque de rater la naissance... Pendant ce temps, J.D. et Kim imaginent leur avenir et celui de leur futur bébé...

Carla deve partorire e viene quindi ricoverata in ospedale. Turk e J.D. sono pronti per festeggiare l'evento con una banda musicale. J.D. e Kim intanto devono decidere se tenere o meno il bambino. Alla fine chiederanno consiglio a Jordan e decideranno di tenerlo. Turk rimane per sbaglio intrappolato nella macchina del ghiaccio, in quanto sarebbe servito a Carla per raffreddare la sua bibita. Per questo motivo non riuscirà a stare vicino a Carla fino al momento del parto, quando riuscirà a togliere la mano incastrata ed andare in sala operatoria e vedere nascere sua figlia. Isabella "Izzie" Turk è nata e tutto il Sacro Cuore fa le congratulazioni alla neo-mamma Carla e al neo-papà Turk.
