Dutchy and Charge take drastic action to catch two prison escapees on a remote island. Hammersley rescues a kidnapped pilot with a dangerous secret. Charge finds himself in a psychological battle with a convicted murderer and Bird gets more than she bargained for when a routine operation turns nasty.

Die Hammersley findet auf offener See die Überreste eines Kleinflugzeuges. Der schwer verletzte Pilot kann in letzter Sekunde gerettet werden. Da stellt sich heraus, dass er ein entflohener Sträfling ist. Da es an Board an der benötigten Medizin fehlt, steuern die Crew eine nahegelegene Insel mit einer Klinik an. Dort angekommen, finden sie den ermordeten Arzt der Station.

L'equipaggio della Hammersley ritrova in mare aperto i resti di un piccolo aereo. le ricerche portano al ritrovamento del presunto pilota, gravemente ferito. Si scopre essere un evaso. In assenza della attrezzatura medica necessaria per curarlo, si dirigono verso un'isola vicina, dove c'è un ospedale della Croce Rossa. Una volta lì, trovano il villaggio deserto ed il medico della stazione assassinato con la gola tagliata.
