Kelso ist verzweifelt und legt sich richtig ins Zeug, um Jackie zurückzugewinnen. Er schreibt sogar ein Lied für sie zum Beweis seiner Liebe. Jackie sucht indes bei Hyde Trost, wovon Kelso alles andere als begeistert ist. Auch bei Donna und Eric herrscht Krisenstimmung. Eric hängt ständig mit den Jungs ab. Donna bekommt dadurch das Gefühl, dass er seine Kumpels ihr vorzieht und sie als selbstverständlich hinnimmt.
