When the guys go bowling for boy's night, Hyde throws a wrench in the plan when his "friend" Jill shows up. Kelso and Fez decide to hunt down their own ladies and leave Eric to feel like the third wheel. Meanwhile, Donna is uncomfortable when she discovers Bob's new girlfriend is spending the night. When Red unintentionally inspires Pastor Dave to give up the cloth, he gets into trouble with Kitty and must find a way to steer Dave back to the light.

Die Jungs haben sich zum Bowlen verabredet. Obwohl ausgemacht war, dass keine Frauen dabei sein sollen, kreuzt Hyde mit seiner neuen Freundin auf. Eric fühlt sich wie das fünfte Rad am Wagen, was Hyde recht wenig kümmert. Donna mag Bobs neue Freundin und freut sich für ihren Vater. Als sie jedoch feststellt, dass Joanne bereits bei ihrem Dad übernachtet, ist sie zunächst schockiert. Red bringt Pastor Dave dazu, seinen Kollar an den Nagel zu hängen.

Les garçons se rendent au bowling où Fez et Kelso draguent des filles, tandis qu'Hyde emmène sa fiancée, Jill. Eric, se sentant délaissé, se remet profondément en question. Donna révèle à Jackie qu'elle a du mal à supporter la présence de Joanne, surtout depuis que celle-ci a dormi chez elle en compagnie de Bob. Red annonce au pasteur Dave qu'il a acheté des billets pour aller voir un match de basket-ball se déroulant le dimanche suivant, mais Dave, en raison d'obligations religieuses, ne peut se libérer. Red lui conseille alors de ne pas assurer la messe ce dimanche là mais Dave abandonne ses fonctions de pasteur.
