Martha Jones ist Medizinstudentin am Londoner Royal Hope Hospital. Eines Tages wird ihr schlimmster Albtraum wahr: das komplette Krankenhaus wird plötzlich zum Mond gebeamt. Das Ganze entpuppt sich als Vorsichtsmaßnahme der Alien-Vampire, die sich im Krankenhaus eingenistet haben, als sie isoliert werden sollen.
