Lena is uncertain about using her magical abilities to help Supergirl retrieve the second totem from Nyxly. William struggles to write a story on the Super Friends that makes both the heroes and Andrea happy. Meanwhile, Kelly is thrilled Esme has found a new home, but things go awry and the little girl's future is put in danger.

Nyxly ist ihren Gegnern schon wieder einen Schritt voraus: Sie spürt das Totem des Mitgefühls auf und aktiviert es. Sie ist verwundert, weil es dafür offenbar keiner Prüfung bedarf, doch schon bald merkt Nyxly, dass sehr wohl eine Challenge auf sie wartet. Das Totem überträgt nämlich das Mitgefühl sämtlicher Menschen auf sie – und so muss sich die Schurkin plötzlich mit einer ungewohnten Flut von Emotionen auseinandersetzen, während die Bürger der Stadt aufeinander losgehen.
