Oliver Pocher (born February 18, 1978, in Hanover) is a German comedian, television presenter, and actor. Oliver Pocher began his professional career following an apprenticeship as an insurance clerk and a period of alternative civilian service with the Workers' Samaritan Federation (Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund). Even during this time, he worked on the side as a DJ, radio host, and entertainer. He first garnered public attention through appearances in smaller comedy formats before establishing himself as a television presenter and comedian in the early 2000s. Pocher became particularly well-known for his provocative and satirical style in numerous TV shows and comedy formats. In addition to his work as a presenter, he also worked as an actor and was a regular presence in entertainment programs as well as his own television shows. His private life also attracted significant media attention, notably due to his relationships and marriages to Sandy Meyer-Wölden and Amira Aly—with whom he also co-hosted a podcast. In 2008, Pocher won one million euros during a celebrity special of *Wer wird Millionär?* (the German version of *Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?*), which he donated entirely to charitable causes. He has received multiple awards for his social commitment to child welfare and serves, among other roles, as the patron of the Ronald McDonald House in Sankt Augustin. He resides in the Hahnwald district of Cologne.

Oliver Pocher begann seine berufliche Laufbahn nach einer Ausbildung zum Versicherungskaufmann und einem Zivildienst beim Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund. Bereits während dieser Zeit arbeitete er nebenbei als DJ, Radiomoderator und Entertainer. Erste öffentliche Aufmerksamkeit erhielt er durch Auftritte in kleineren Comedy-Formaten, bevor er sich Anfang der 2000er-Jahre als Fernsehmoderator und Komiker etablierte. Bekannt wurde Pocher vor allem durch seine provokante und satirische Art in zahlreichen TV-Shows und Comedyformaten. Neben seiner Tätigkeit als Moderator arbeitete er auch als Schauspieler und war regelmäßig in Unterhaltungsformaten sowie eigenen Fernsehsendungen präsent. Große mediale Aufmerksamkeit erhielt zudem sein Privatleben, unter anderem durch seine Beziehungen und Ehen mit Sandy Meyer-Wölden und Amira Aly, mit der er auch einen gemeinsamen Podcast betrieb. 2008 gewann Pocher beim Prominentenspecial von Wer wird Millionär? eine Million Euro, die er vollständig für wohltätige Zwecke spendete.
