Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2, 1964) is an American actress and writer. She is the recipient of two Tony Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award. Née en Caroline du Sud, Mary-Louise Parker passe son enfance à voyager, son père étant juge dans l’armée américaine. Après des études d’art dramatique, elle fait des débuts remarqués sur les planches dans une pièce de Craig Lucas, "Prelude to a Kiss", pour laquelle elle est nommée aux Tony Awards en 1990. Le metteur en scène la dirige également dans son film Un compagnon de longue date.
