Roger Lindsey Donaldson ist ein australischer und neuseeländischer Filmregisseur, Drehbuchautor und Produzent. Sein Debütfilm „Sleeping Dogs“ aus dem Jahr 1977 gilt als Meilenstein des neuseeländischen Kinos und war einer der ersten Filme des Landes, der großen Erfolg bei Kritikern und an den Kinokassen hatte. Seitdem arbeitete er in Hollywood, Großbritannien und seinem Heimatland.
