Jess gets a job as a zombie at a haunted house, but is more frightened of her changing feelings towards Sam. Schmidt and Cece are perfectly matched in the costumes they're wearing, while Winston and Shelby are worlds apart in theirs. Nick gets a visit from a former college crush who shows her affection in a scary way.

La sera di Halloween si ritrovano tutti alla festa dove lavora Jess e ognuno ha una svolta nella sua storia: Cece e Robby affermano il loro rapporto e Schmidt capisce che è il caso di accettare la situazione e finisce per apprezzare Robby, Winston chiude il suo rapporto con Shelby, arrivato ormai ad un punto cieco; Nick tronca subito la storia con Amelia.
