Langston and Sara turn to Lady Heather for help in tracking down the culprit responsible for injuring a woman before she was seemingly mauled to death by a mountain lion. Meanwhile, Nick and Dr. Robbins manage to rescue the unborn baby of a teenage girl who appears to have committed suicide

Une femme est retrouvée morte au bas d'une colline. Son corps est à moitié dévoré, sans doute par un puma. Langstone examine le cadavre, qui présente des ecchymoses et des traces de liens. Il trouve également une fausse dent de félin. Les Experts découvrent que la victime venait de quitter son emploi et son petit ami. Elle avait pris cette décision après avoir suivi une thérapie avec Lady Heather. Alors qu'ils interrogent Heather, les enquêteurs apprennent que la victime, au cous de séances de jeux de rôles, se prenait pour un chat. De leur côté, Nick et Robbin s'occupent du cas d'une adolescente retrouvée pendue dans sa salle de bain. Enceinte, son bébé est encore en vie...
