The CSIs investigate a crime that has ties to a 25-year-old mob heist; Brass is faced with a decision when his daughter tries to commit suicide.

Le corps de Roger Mathers est retrouvé dans le désert, une balle dans la poitrine. Il y a 25 ans, celui-ci a été retenu en otage par des voleurs, avec ses deux amis d’enfance. Le butin d’un million de dollars n’a jamais été retrouvé. L’équipe s’intéresse alors aux voleurs originels, deux frères nommés Paul et Ben O’Malley. De son côté, Brass doit s’occuper de sa fille Ellie qui a tenté de se suicider.
