The swing shift has a busy time. Warrick looks into the murder of man by someone who apparently needs a wheelchair. Nick looks into the murder of woman in the subculture of the narcocorrido, songs about drug murders. The night shift is slow and lends help to Catherine's team.

Deux enquêtes occupent les agents, deux meurtres. On a retrouvé le cadavre d'un homme, ainsi qu'une tête de femme, un crotale enfoncé dans la gorge. Nick se voit confier l'enquête sur la femme décapitée, tandis que Warrick se charge de la seconde affaire. Il réalise peu à peu que le meurtrier pourrait être handicapé. Quant à Nick, il se retrouve immergé dans le monde très glauque du Narcocorrido, un univers artistique fait de violence et de drogue. Son enquête s'annonce difficile et dangereuse...
