While investigating the murder of man hired to make dirty bombs that terrorists intend to set off in Miami, Horatio finds the bloody fingerprint of his brother, Raymond, who he believed to be dead. However, when Raymond's son is kidnapped, he emerges from deep undercover and the estranged brothers must work together to save the boy. Meanwhile, while processing a crime scene, an unknown assailant holds a gun to Calleigh's head and, after a deadly confrontation in her gun lab, she is left doubting that she can continue as a CSI.

Alors qu'Horatio enquête sur l'explosion d'une bombe qui a fait plusieurs victimes dont celui qui l'a fabriquée, il découvre sur place les empreintes de son frère, Raymond, qu'il croyait mort. Celui-ci est donc impliqué dans l'affaire. Cependant, lorsque le fils de Raymond est enlevé, les deux frères se retrouvent et mettent tout en oeuvre pour sauver le petit garçon. Calleigh fait face à une dramatique situation...

Mentre indaga sull'omicidio di un uomo specializzato nel fabbricare bombe "sporche" per alcuni gruppi terroristici, Horatio fa una scoperta choccante: sul luogo vengono rilevate infatti alcune impronte digitali di suo fratello Raymond, che egli credeva morto. E proprio Raymond farà infine la sua comparsa quando suo figlio viene rapito. Ora, i due fratelli devono lanciarsi in una corsa contro il tempo per salvare il ragazzino. Nel frattempo, un agguato quasi letale ai danni di Calleigh le fa sorgere numerosi dubbi sul suo futuro nella CSI.
