While working on a high-stakes gun raid, Andy and Gail stumble upon a victim of domestic abuse whose brutal experience in the system has taught her not to trust the police. When Andy promises to protect the woman from her abuser, she soon learns that it takes more than just following protocol to be good at her job. Meanwhile, the other rookies get caught up in the annual police retirement boxing match – a fundraising event known as “Fite Nite.”

Le commissariat monte un guet-apens pour démonter un trafic de balles pouvant transpercer les gilets par balle. Alors qu'ils sont sur le point d'arrêter le trafiquant, les policiers en faction entendent une dispute qu'ils doivent maîtriser. Andy et Gail arrête un homme qui semble avoir donner un coup de poing à un autre. La transaction s'achève et ils arrêtent l'homme mais Dov et Traci en surveillance dans un camion voient un homme sortir de la voiture du trafiquant et tentent de l'arrêter. Quant à Traci, elle se prépare pour une soirée caritative où des femmes se battent dans un ring pour les policiers à la retraite. Andi s'inquiète pour son père et espère qu'il ne boira pas à la soirée.
