Andy’s undercover skills are tested – and found to be lacking – during a citywide campaign to clean up the streets, when she’s tapped to pose as a prostitute in order to arrest unsuspecting johns. But the real test comes when Andy and Dov inadvertently put a vulnerable street informant’s life in danger, and it’s up to the two rookies to infiltrate a dangerous gun deal in order to save the trapped woman from a group of ruthless criminals.

Le relation d'Andy avec Luke s'annonce bien, elle en est la première surprise. En tant que nouvelles recrues, ils ne sont pas connus dans la rue. Cela leur permet de se faire passer pour des prostitués. C'est Chris, chez les garçons, qui s'y colle à son corps défendant et du côté des filles c'est Andy et Gail. Traci est affectée aux homicides et avec Luke, ils enquêtent sur le meurtre d'un jeune adulte non identifié. Tandis que Gail s'en sort bien, Andy n'arrive pas à faire arrêter des clients. Elle est même perturbée par l'attitude d'un des hommes qui l'accoste. Quant à Dov, fidèle à lui-même, il ronge son frein et monopolise la radio-police.
