When Danny finds a disoriented man in a park covered in his girlfriend’s blood, he finds it hard to believe that the man has no recollection of the night’s events until they find a strong narcotic in his bloodstream. Meanwhile, Jamie gets into trouble when he helps an off-duty officer cover up his intoxication after he apprehended an armed robber.

Un individu est interpellé en pleine rue, ses vêtements couverts de sang. L'homme, qui déclare être venu en ville avec sa fiancée pour lui faire sa demande en mariage, n'a que de très vagues souvenirs de la soirée. Danny et Baez entreprennent de faire la lumière sur les événements. Dans la chambre d'hôtel qu'occupait le couple, Danny trouve le cadavre d'une jeune femme, gisant au milieu d'une pièce où semble avoir eu lieu une lutte sanglante. Niant toute implication dans ce meurtre, le suspect, toujours en état de choc, séjourne provisoirement chez Danny. De son côté, Eric reçoit un appel de l'école de sa fille, menacée d'expulsion pour son comportement rebelle...
