Mickey Bricks and his team of con artists decide to dabble in the world of art this week, when they set up an elaborate scam to swindle a greedy gallery owner, by faking an early Mondrian painting.

La bande de Mickey Bricks s'intéresse soudainement au monde de l'art et convoite la galerie de Meredith Gates. Pour parfaire son plan, Danny se transforme en marchand d'art. La bande décide de vendre à Gates, qui est une admiratrice du peintre, un faux Mondrian. Tip Jones, le meilleur faussaire au monde, peint donc un nouveau Mondrian que même les meilleurs experts attribuent à l'artiste renommé.
