As an Algerian extremist escapes his home detention, the team fears he may be plotting a terror attack on US businesses in the UK with the help of local Iranians. However, working with the Americans to stop the attack proves a trying task given their recently-deceitful behaviour.

Michael, l'une des sources de Zaf, prend contact avec le MI-5 et révèle à Jo qu'un attentat se prépare. Hassan Lago, le cousin d'Abdul Kharami, un dangereux extrémiste, lui a demandé de servir de chauffeur pour une opération. Bob Hogan et l'agent Warren prêtent main-forte au MI-5. Leur présence ne fait pas l'unanimité. Des écoutes téléphoniques semblent indiquer que le consul iranien et Kharami, pourtant ennemis jurés, se seraient alliés pour commettre un attentat contre les intérêts américains. La femme du consul renseigne Adam dont elle est la maîtresse. Elle est chargée de surveiller son mari au plus près et Adam lui remet un kit d'enregistrement. Mais bientôt la situation leur échappe.
