Joe Carroll's true intentions are revealed through a new follower, Charlie. As Ryan learns of Joe's plans, he tries to stall Emma, Jacob and Paul by taunting them in hopes of turning them against each other. Meanwhile, Emma makes a shocking decision.

Hardy gelingt es, weitere Zwietracht zwischen den Entführern Emma, Paul und Jacob zu säen. Als Paul und Jacob mit Hardy aneinander geraten, macht sich Emma mit Joey unbemerkt aus dem Staub. Claire wird indessen von einem weiteren „follower“ entführt, der scheinbar ernsthafte Gefühle für sein Opfer entwickelt hat.
