When a 6-year-old boy informs the NCIS team that his father was kidnapped, the team discovers that the missing father is actually a Lt. Commander working on a secret project named Honor, and that he is the only one who has the code that can open the project. While Gibbs gets closer with the boy, the rest of the team discovers that the project has been hacked in and the information inside has been deleted. Is the missing man innocent or is he actually the guilty one?

Commander Tanner, ein wichtiger Mann bei einem geheimen Computer-Projekt, wird am helllichten Tag in einem Park entführt. Sein Sohn Zach beobachtet das Verbrechen vom Karussell aus und verständigt sofort den NCIS. Le capitaine Tanner est kidnappé en plein jour sous les yeux de son fils de six ans qui prévient immédiatement le NCIS. Tanner travaillait sur un projet Secret-Défense nommé Honneur dont lui seul possédait les codes de protection. Pendant que Gibbs se prend d'affection pour le garçon surdoué, son équipe découvre que le projet honneur est piraté, menaçant ainsi la sécurité du pays. Et au fur et à mesure de l'enquête, Tanner incarne de moins en moins le profil de la victime.
