Adam catches a glimpse of the wonders of travelling in the Tardis, as they head to a future, where Satellite 5 broadcasts to the entire Earth Empire. But anyone promoted to Floor 500 is never seen again, and the Doctor suspects mankind is being manipulated.

Der Doktor, Rose und Adam landen mit der TARDIS auf Satellit 5 im Jahre 200.000, angeblich im 'großen und blühenden menschlichen Reich'. Doch der Glanz hat Risse: Anders als der Doktor es in Erinnerung hat, scheint die Entwicklung der menschlichen Rasse festzustecken.
