She is known for her television roles as Veronica Palmero on the ABC sitcom George Lopez, Yvonne Sanchez on the CBS period drama Vegas, Jamie Batista on the Showtime drama Dexter and Ella Lopez on the Fox-turned-Netflix drama Lucifer. November 1978 in Chicago, Illinois) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin, Filmemacherin und Autorin mit mexikanisch-puertoricanischen Wurzeln. Tochter einer mexikanischen Mutter aus Pachuca und eines puertoricanischen Vaters aus San Juan, studierte sie an der Northwestern University und begann früh mit Schauspiel in Theater und Werbespots. Bekannt wurde sie durch Rollen wie Veronica Palmero in George Lopez (2006–2007), Jamie Batista in Dexter (2011–2013) sowie die forensische Wissenschaftlerin Ella Lopez in Lucifer (2016–2021).
