After Charlie and Amita get married and begin preparations for their London adventure, they put a slight hold on their wedded bliss when they assist the team in helping Don track down the whereabouts of his gun after it goes missing.

Bevor Charlie und Amita ihre Gastprofessur in Cambridge antreten, wollen sie im kleinen Kreis heiraten. Unmittelbar nach der Trauung muss Don zu einem Einsatz. Bei der Festnahme eines lang gesuchten Verbrechers wird ihm die Waffe aus der Hand geschlagen. Ein Passant nimmt sie an sich – wenig später tauchen in sozialen Netzwerken eine Reihe von Einträgen über eine gestohlene ‚Cop-Waffe‘ auf. Kurz darauf werden zwei Drogendealer mit Dons Waffe getötet.
