Stardate: 43685.2. Worf is reunited with his long-lost brother when their father is charged with treason for helping the Romulans. Together they make an appeal to the Klingon High Council to challenge the charges, and have them revoked.

Worf kehrt auf die klingonische Heimatwelt zurück, um seinen verstorbenen Vater gegen die Anklage des Verrats zu verteidigen. Worf wird von seinem Bruder Kurn, der ebenfalls überlebt hat und sich als Teil eines Austauschprogramms auf die Enterprise versetzen ließ, dazu angestachelt.
