In Marseilles (France), skilled pizza delivery boy Daniel who drives a scooter finally has his dreams come true. He gets a taxi license. Caught by the police for a huge speed infraction, he will help Emilien, a loser inspector who can't drive, on the track of German bank robbers, so he doesn't lose his license and his dream job.

Emilien, ein kleiner Polizist, der schon achtmal durch die Führerscheinprüfung gefallen ist, erwischt ihn bei Tempo 200 und wittert seine große Chance. Mit Daniel als Fahrer könnte er die berüchtigte Mercedes-Gang dingfest machen, eine deutsche Bankräuber-Bande, die den französischen Behörden seit Monaten Kopfzerbrechen bereitet. Da er keine Wahl hat – ein Nein würde die Taxi-Lizenz kosten – geht Daniel auf den Deal ein.
