When Latimer hires Nate’s father to pull off a heist in an ultra-secure government office, the Leverage team must stage a fake hostage stand-off when they’re trapped inside and the feds lay siege to the building.

Latimer hat Nates Vater Jimmy angeheuert, um eine Patentanmeldung aus dem US Patentamt zu stehlen. Als dieser nach erfolgreichem Einstieg nichts mehr von sich hören lässt, wendet sich Latimer an Nate. Das Team bricht ins Patentamt ein und findet dort Jimmy, der im Archiv nach der Anmeldung sucht. Il rend visite à Jack Latimer qui lui explique que la personne qu'il a engagé pour faire ce qu'il lui avait proposé n'est toujours pas sorti de l'immeuble et que Lundi il se fera arrêté par les fédéraux. Il ne dit rien à l'équipe et se rend à l'immeuble où les brevets sont déposés. Son équipe, jamais sans ressources, le suit pour l'aider à sortir son père de la mouise dans laquelle il se trouve.
