Sie ahnt nicht, dass sie von einem Wahnsinnigen hinters Licht geführt wird. Der russische General Orlov benutzt ihren Octopussy-Zirkus vorgeblich, mit ihm den geraubten Kreml-Schatz durch Europa zu schmuggeln. Tatsächlich dient er ihm nur als trojanisches Pferd für einen atomaren Sprengkörper, der auf dem Gelände der US-Airforce in Feldberg detonieren soll.
